Invitation to Eid ul-Adha Celebration

On June 28th of this year, which is the 10th day of the month of Zul-Hijjah according to the Islamic calendar, the Islamic Center together with the Tatar Culture Center invites everyone to the Eid ul-Adha celebration, taking place in Trakai at 12 pm, at the Villa ILGAI.

On this day, Muslims performing the pilgrimage (Hajj) and all others sacrifice animals and distribute their meat to the needy, thus commemorating Prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael. This sacrifice symbolizes complete submission to God's will, remembering that everything we have is a gift from God.

Therefore, during this festival, Muslims are encouraged to remember God's gifts, give to charity, share their wealth, and spend time in the community.
